Three Citrus College Men's Golf athletes closed out the 2025 season at the 3C2A Southern California Regional Championships on Monday, May 5, at Los Serranos Golf Club in Chino Hills, CA.

Freshman Javier Alvarado led the way for the Owls, continuing his strong play from last week's Western State Conference-South Championships. Alvarado carded rounds of 78 and 75 for a 153 total, finishing 25th overall. His performance also earned him alternate status for the upcoming 2025 3C2A State Championships at Bayonet Black Horse Golf Course in Seaside, CA, hosted by Modesto Junior College.

Freshman Andrew Gahshan followed closely behind, shooting a two-round total of 150 with scores of 78 and 72—good for 27th place overall and another consistent showing after last week's strong finish at Conference.

Sophomore Alex Morales posted rounds of 85 and 82 for a total of 167, finishing 62nd overall. Morales showed resilience with an improved second-round performance to cap off his season.

The Owls conclude their 2025 campaign with promising performances from their freshmen and valuable postseason experience for all three golfers.
