After earning a spot on the Western State Conference-South All-Conference First Team, Citrus College baseball standout Luke Willison has added to his growing list of accolades. The sophomore catcher has been named to both the ABCA/Rawlings Pacific Association Division All-America First Team and the Southern California All-Region First Team.

A graduate of South Hills High School, Willison made his presence felt on both sides of the ball this season. Offensively, he led the Owls with an impressive .426 batting average (top 10 in the state), .543 on-base percentage (top 10 in the state), and an .824 slugging percentage, which ranked second in California. He also recorded 10 home runs (21st in the state), 33 RBIs, 27 walks, and 12 stolen bases.

Behind the plate, Willison anchored the defense with a .965 fielding percentage, 183 putouts, 11 assists, and threw out eight baserunners attempting to steal.

In addition to his on-field success, Willison was recently recognized with Distinguished Student Honors by Citrus College faculty. A Kinesiology major, he earned the award for his academic excellence, class participation, and contributions to the learning environment.
