Glendora, CA -- The Citrus College Men's Basketball team picked up a big road win on Saturday night when they defeated host Santa Monica College 71-65. The Owls led by just one at the break, but sealed the deal in the final minutes to improve to 5-2 in WSC South play.

Freshman Chris Reyes paced Citrus' effort on the night with a team high 22 points. Freshmen Justin Childress and Jordan Jefferson had 11 and 12 respectively.

With the win, Citrus improves to 12-6 overall. The Owls will be back at home on Wednesday night when they host State #15 Glendale College at 7:00 PM.
