No. 27-ranked Citrus College kept rolling with an 84-62 victory over Glendale College Wednesday night.
The Owls improve to 14-5 on the year and 5-0 in the Western State Conference with their fifth-straight win, while the Vaqueros slip to 10-9 overall, 3-2 in conference.
JJ Mitchell (8-for-14) led four Owls in double figures with 19 points and added 11 rebounds for his fifth double-double of the year. Tyrel Creger followed with 16 points (5-for-11), while Malik Khouzam (5-for-9) added 15 points. Brandon Suber rounded out the quartet with 12 points (6-for-11).
Glendale tried to keep things close, but Khouzam knocked down a big three with just over seven minutes left in the first to spark a 9-0 run that put Citrus in the driver's seat.
The Owls never looked back and built as high as a 27-point lead en route to the 84-62 victory.
Citrus remains at home to host Antelope Valley College on Saturday, tipping off at 3 p.m.
