Two Owls Are Ready For Next Level

Two Citrus College Men's Basketball athletes are set to continue their collegiate careers at the next level. 

Sophomore forward Grant Martin and sophomore guard Tyrel Creger both helped the Owls secure the Western State Conference-South Championship last season which marked the program's sixth conference championship in the last seven seasons. 

Martin, a spark off the bench, earned All-WSC honorable mention for the 2023-24 season while averaging 5.4 points per game on 43.5% from the field and 4.9 rebounds per game. Grant is headed to Long Beach State. 

Creger earned All-WSC First-Team honors while averaging 14.4 points per game, 3.5 assists per game and 4.6 rebounds per game. Tyrel's best performance came in a high-scoring win at home against MiraCosta where he scored 30 points on 10 of 18 from the field. Creger is set to join the Vikings of Valley City State University.
