Citrus College Men’s Golf Alumni Embark on Next Chapters

Citrus College Men's Golf is proud to highlight six former student-athletes who are advancing to the next phase of their academic and athletic journeys.

After a season at Lake Superior State University, 2024 alumni Chris Ruiz and Ashton Mount have committed to continue their collegiate golf careers at Hope International University for the 2025–26 season. Their teammate at both Citrus and Lake Superior State, Kabir Chadha, will transition into coaching. Chadha is set to join Citrus Head Coach Julian Horton as an Assistant Coach while pursuing his PGA certification.

Another 2024 Citrus College graduate, Daichi Nishisu, will continue his education with plans to graduate from Lake Superior State University.

Looking ahead, sophomores Alex Morales and Carter Gauthier from the 2025 Citrus College Men's Golf team are preparing to transfer to Cal Poly Pomona, where they will continue their academic pursuits.

As the 2025 Women's Golf season tees off on Monday, August 25, at the Chuck Melendez Invitational, Citrus Golf looks to compete this upcoming season with experienced alumni on hand to offer support and guidance.
