Owls Finish Fifth at WSC #4 in Bakersfield

Citrus College Men's Golf competed at the WSC #4 hosted by Bakersfield College on Monday, March 9, at Scarlet & Grey Golf Club in Bakersfield, CA, finishing fifth overall.

The Owls posted a team total of 311. Leading the way was Andrew Gahshan, who carded a team-low 73, tying with three other golfers for second-best individual score. Cameron Vallaro turned in a career-best round at Citrus with a 78, followed by Javier Alvarado (79), Thomas Holstrom (81), Angel Caro (84), and Aidan Oria (91).

Citrus will next compete in the rescheduled WSC #2 at Alisal Ranch Golf Course, hosted by Santa Barbara City College on Monday, March 16.
