Citrus College picked up its third-straight victory Tuesday afternoon, downing Bakersfield College 3-1.
The Owls improve to 8-3-3 overall and remain undefeated with a 3-0-0 Western State Conference-South action. The Renegades drop to 2-9-3 on the year and 1-1-1 in conference.
Sammy Ghandour struck first for the Owls in the 12th minute off a Takechika Ito assist.
Bakersfield equalized in the 46th minute, but Jose Alvarez-Novales found the back of the net in the 70th minute to put Citrus back in front.
Isaac Ochoa tapped in the final dagger after knocking in a Jacob Derayal assist in the 83rd minute.
Christian Sanchez finished with six saves in goal to preserve the victory.
The Owls continue on the road for a string of four games, heading next to Antelope Valley College on Friday at 7 p.m.
