The Citrus College Men's Soccer team faced off with Allan Hancock College last Friday, September 20th. The game resulted in a 3-0 loss for the Owls.
Citrus College moves to 2-4-1 on the season while Allan Hancock improves to 4-2-1 on the season.
The Owls fell behind 1-0 after the Bulldogs scored in the 32nd minute of the first half, unable to find the back of the net on their four shots.
In the second half the Owls came out aggressive with renewed energy, getting quality shots on goal and nearly scoring on multiple attacks. Although the Owls recorded 10 shots in the second half and had four corner kicks, they could not capitalize to even the score. Allan Hancock scored in the 55th minute to go up 2-0 then again in the 79th minute to make the score 3-0 which turned out to be too much a deficit to overcome for Citrus.
Citrus College will be back on their home field looking for their third win of the season when they host Chaffey College tomorrow, Tuesday September 24th at 4:00 p.m.
