Five Owls Pick Up All-WSC Honors
Five Athletes from the Citrus College Men's Soccer team were selected to the Western State Conference-South Division All-Conference team. Ty Robnett was named to the first-team, Alexis Gutierrez and Adrian Rodriguez picked up second-team honors; and Anthony Martinez and Christian Sanchez were named honorable mention.
Robnett, sophomore center back from Claremont High School, led the Owls defensively in 2024 playing in 20 games, scoring one goal, and recording one assist. Ty had a handful of defensive saves and countless defensive stops to help the Owls.
Alexis Gutierrez, freshman defender, appeared in 18 games for the Owls, scoring one goal and one assist while playing strong defensively.
Adrian Rodriguez, freshman midfielder, started in 19 of the 20 games he appeared in this season. Rodriguez's ball control, positioning and technical skills in the midfield were on full display all season.
Martinez, sophomore midfielder, appeared in 18 games for the Owls this season and recorded one assist. Anthony played a key role in setting up the Owls' offensive attacks from the midfield with his elite dribbling and accurate passing.
Sanchez, sophomore goalkeeper started 11 games for the Owls in 2024 logging just under 1,000 minutes in goal. Sanchez recorded 45 saves and two shutouts.
