Citrus College couldn't get the ball to fall in an 84-61 loss at No. 10-ranked College of the Canyons.

The Owls drop to 13-12 overall, 3-7 in the Western State Conference-South.

Three Owls finished the night in double figures, led by Katherine Goostrey with 21 points. Giselle Garcia-Nunez added 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for a double-double, while Reanne Reola chipped in 14 points.

The Cougars held the Owls to a 26.2-percent shooting from the floor to grab the victory.

Citrus returns home to host Antelope Valley College on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
