In a tightly battled contest, Citrus College came up just short, dropping a 47-42 loss to Irvine Valley College.
The Owls slip to 2-3 on the year while the Lasers remain undefeated at 5-0.
Giselle Garcia-Nunez led the Owls with nine points (3-for-5), while Cayla Williams followed with seven points (2-for-4). The duo also helped Citrus' rebounding effort with six boards a piece, while Raeyanna Clophia led the Owls with eight rebounds on the night.
Citrus closes out the El Camino College Crossover on Friday at 5 p.m., taking on Rio Hondo at El Camino.
