Citrus College couldn't hold off LA Valley in a 61-38 defeat at home on Saturday.
The Owls drop to 5-12 on the year and 1-2 in Western State Conference action, while the Monarchs improve to 11-7 overall and 3-1 in conference.
Three Owls finished the game in double figures, with Reanne Reola and Giselle Garcia-Nunez each posting 11 points. Reola added four steals defensively. Cayla Williams added a double-double with 10 points and 11 boards.
Citrus heads back out on the road for a tough contest, heading to the conference's only undefeated team Glendale College on Wednesday for a 5 p.m. tip off.
