Valdez Set To Join La Sierra University

Gabby Valdez is set to join La Sierra University after a two-year career with the Citrus College Women's Basketball team. 

Valdez, a sophomore guard, played in 55 games for the Owls over the last two seasons averaging 6.4 points per game, 2.3 rebounds per game and 1.5 steals per game. 

As the lone sophomore on the 2023-24 team, Valdez helped the Owls to a 21-9 season record with her best performance coming in a road win against Porterville where she totaled 20 points and hit five three-pointers.
