Delgado Tops for Owls at WSC Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara, CA (Women's Golf) -- Freshman Kandace Delgado was the top golfer for the Owls yesterday morning at the WSC Santa Barbara match held at Santa Barbara Golf Club. Two weeks after scoring in triple digits, Delgado improved by 14 strokes and was the only Owl in double digits.

Delgado would end up shooting a respectable 92 for Citrus. She would be followed by sophomore Melissa Salas who shot a 101. Freshman Kristen Masters would come into the clubhouse with a 118, while freshman Marisa Piceno rounded out the Citrus scoring with a 121.

The Owls will be back out on the links next weekend when they host their own WSC Event at San Dimas Canyon Golf Course next Wednesday. Tee-time is set for 10:00 AM.
