Owls Compete at RCC Invitational

The Citrus College Swim team competed at the Riverside City College Invitational this past weekend on Friday, March 7th and Saturday, March 8th. 

Citrus finished 6th in the Women's 200-yard Free Relay, led by Kori Cunningham who set a new personal record with a time of 26.02. Trinity Hulet had a time of 28.41, Marieona Reedy clocked 28.97 followed by Maryeon Reedy with a time of 30.33. 

Kori Cunningham took 2nd place in the 50-yard Free with a time of 25.79. Maryeon Reedy (29.28), Natalie Abril (29.42) and Marieona Reedy (29.44) finished in 23rd, 24th and 25th in the 50-yard Free, while Gabi Terry (30.51) finished 34th, Trinity Hulet (30.81) took 36th, followed by Katelyn Wright at 56th with a time of 37.73. 

Kori Cunningham took 1st place in the Women's 100-yard Free with a time of 56.03. Maryona Reedy took 18th place in the Women's 100-yard Free with a time of 1:10.83, Gabi Terry placed 20th with a time of 1:06.60, while Natalie Abril and Trinity Hulet placed 22nd and 23rd with times of 1:06.66 and 1:06.87, respectively. Katelyn Wright improved significantly in the Women's 100-yard Free with a time of 1:26.63. 

Marieona Reedy took 16th place in the Women's 100-yard Backstroke with a time of 1:18.19, while Trinity Hulet took 22nd in the same event with a time of 1:20.61. 

Hannah Wu took 7th place in the Women's 200-yard Breaststroke with a time of 2:53.97 and Maryona Reedy took 15th place in the same event with a time of 3:16.74. 

The Men finished 15th in the 200-yard Free Relay. Ethan Gregory led the Owls with a time of 23.85 followed closely by Liam Ross who clocked 25.26, while Trace Faskell had a time of 25.38 and Milton Gutierrez had a time of 26.24. 

Ethan Gregory finished 24th in the Men's 50-yard Free with a time of 24.07, Liam Ross took 37th with a time of 25.39 and Trace Faskell closely followed with a time of 25.84 for 44th place. 

In the Men's 100-yard Free Ethan Gregory placed 26th with a time of 54.48, while Liam Ross clocked a 55.55 in the same event.
