Citrus Competes at Golden West Central Park Classic

Citrus College competed at the Golden West Central Park Classic on Friday.

Adriana Torres led the Owl women in the 5K with a time of 21 minutes 33.8 seconds for 14th place, while Navneet Ghotra followed in 26:56.4.

On the men's side, Eduardo Prestegui Melchor was the first Owl to cross the four-mile finish line. Saul Mora wasn't too far behind, posting a time of 23:27.1. Joseph Cruz had a time of 25:43.3, Gio De La Cruz finished in 27:26.9, and Jason Bailey grabbed a time of 27:37.8.

The Owls next race on Friday at the Western State Conference Preview at Vista Park in Moorpark, Calif.
