Glendora, CA -- For the 9th consecutive season the Citrus College Men's Basketball program will be a part of the California Community College Athletic Association post-season. The Owls earned the #10 seed in the Southern California Regional Playoffs and will travel to #7 Mt. San Jacinto College on Friday.

The Owls post-season run begins after Citrus finished 16-10 overall and 9-5 in WSC South play, good for second place. Sophomore John Roach was the Owls' leading scorer, averaging 13 points a contest. Sophomore big man Chaunce Hill meanwhile led the team in rebounding (6.4 rpg) and blocked shots (2.0 bpg).

Mt. San Jacinto was the co-champion in the Pacific Coast Conference North Division, finishing 22-7 overall and 6-2 in conference play. The Eagles are paced by the State's leading scorer in Samuel Williams (25.8 ppg). The Owls and Eagles squared off in the Regional Semi-Finals last season, with Mt. San Jacinto ending Citrus' season 61-92. The two schools also played each other in the Owls' opening weekend back on Sunday November 16, 2014 in the third place game of the 2014 Knight's Invitational at San Diego City College. The Owls also lost that contest 75-93, their third game of the year.

Tip-off between the two schools is set for 7:00 PM in San Jacinto, CA at the MSJC Gymnasium.
